Alvin College students have access to hundreds of scholarship opportunities provided by the Alvin College Foundation, Alvin College, and generous independent donors.

Ready to get started? Here’s what you need to know:

Graduating High School Seniors
It’s easy — just complete the General Application!

Once you submit your General Application, the system will automatically match you with the scholarships for which you may qualify. You do not need to apply for each scholarship individually.

Current Alvin College Students
For current students, applying is a three-step process:

1. Complete the General Application.
This gathers the information we need about you, but it does NOT apply you for individual scholarships.

2. Find scholarships that match you.
Go to Opportunities > Recommended to see currently available scholarships. Review the requirements carefully and find the opportunities that apply to you, your major, and your circumstances.

3. Apply!
Click “Apply To” for each scholarship you want to apply for and complete any additional questions or requirements.

IMPORTANT: Not every scholarship is available to every student. Please read the eligibility requirements before applying. For example, if you are a Psychology major, you should not apply for a scholarship specifically designated for Nursing students.

Remember to Apply Each Year!
Your General Application remains in the system through August. A new General Application must be completed each Fall semester to be considered for scholarships during the new academic year.

Uploading Documents
If you are asked to upload a transcript, letter, or other document, do not use punctuation or special characters in the file name. The system may not accept files containing them.
