ACCF Montague Student Support Scholarship

This scholarship is specifically for students who are homeless, who have been or currently are in a foster care situation or who come from a difficult upbringing. If you were or are currently without housing or financial stability, please apply. Scholarship amounts vary with needs. You must have at least a 2.25 GPA.

  1. Please explain the difficulties in your past or current home life that are making school difficult for you. ex: Where do you live now? What was the situation as you were growing up? What is your current situation?? What is your current or past financial situation? These are all things for you to think about as you tell us why you need help and how we can help you.
  2. What exactly do you need and why? ex: Tuition help, a ride to class, a textbook, childcare assistance, gas, food, etc. Please be specific.
  3. Do you have financial need?
  4. Have you had (or do you now have) experience with housing insecurity due to parental neglect, foster care placement or a similar circumstance?
  5. Did you grow up in a low income household?
  6. Did you attend ACC last semester and earn at least 6 credit hours during that semester?
  7. Do you have at least a cumulative GPA of a 2.25?
  8. Are you working, or have you had a part-time or full-time job within the last two years while attending school?
  9. Have you been involved in community service or student activities in the last two years?
  10. Have you been convicted of any criminal charges during the last two years?
  11. Have you been substance abuse free during the last two years?
