Adjunct Excellence Awards

Purpose of Awards:
The goal of these $500 awards is to recognize individual adjunct instructors who have not only achieved and maintained excellence in performance of their job but have also provided exemplary service to the College and/or the community.

Who May Nominate:
Any ACC employee may nominate in each of the following three categories:
Adjunct Staff Award
Adjunct Credit Instructor Award
Adjunct Non-Credit Instructor Award

How to Nominate:
Write a nomination letter including the adjunct’s name, semesters or years of service, department, and give examples of the nominee’s performance in the following areas:

- Maintenance of a high standard of performance in his/her job, or jobs, over a sustained period of employment at ACC.
- Service to College and/or community, as well as the impact this service has had on the College and/or the community.
- Contributions toward creating a positive climate at the College and/or in the community.
- Efforts to maintain the high ethical standards of his/her profession.
- Situations in which the nominee has been supportive of the work and goals of others.
- Additional reasons that this nominee should be strongly considered for this award.
